Down 1/2 pound of the whole pound I gained yesterday.  YEA!  Back to protocol always works for me.  I was a cooking fiend yesterday getting ready for the week: cut up cucumbers, celery, and watermelon (phase 3) for distribution for the week and cooked basa fish, asparagus, green beans, broccoli and cauliflower combined with a wee bit of real butter (phase 3) and some mushrooms with a wee bit of evoo (phase 3).   Got all my food ready for the week and weekend.  I remember the quote, "If you fail to plan, you plan to fail."   That is so me.  :)

Praying God's health and strength for all of us.  I am not stabilizing as quickly as last time, but it takes up to three weeks.  Just beginning week 2 of phase 3.  It will happen when my body finds its "new normal."   Still loving the plan and LOVING the NEW REALIZATION that meals are for fueling - not simply pleasure.  I now find pleasure in health, energy, clothes that fit, going to the pool in a bathing suit if I like, taking less and less daily medication for fat-related illnesses, freedom from a life-long cage of obesity..........my meals are not "oh I can't wait..."   now they are "have I gotten my fruits and veggies into this tank to provide FUEL for me to live?"   BIG difference.   I could eat the same thing daily and be ok now as food serves a different purpose than it has for 54 years of my life.  Thank you GOD that my stomach is no longer my god.  (Philippians 3:19)
