Praise God, it's Friday.  And, we are grateful for every new day and every new opportunity to serve God and honor him with our lives.  I am hanging around the SAME one pound marker and have for awhile.  Praise him!

I talked to many of you yesterday and in the past couple of days who have been stuck on your downward spiral.  First, you are not alone.  Second, let me share something I feel the Lord shared with me this morning.  Several I have talked to are discouraged.  I totally understand.  BUT......I applaud those who stuck to protocol when everything in you was screaming "jump ship."  I told someone yesterday that SOOOOO many times in my life I might loose 15 pounds and then get "stuck" and finally give up in discouragement and "sedate and comfort" myself with a pan of brownies.  Discouragement is a wicked foe.   However, as I was meditating on it and asking the Lord about this he instructed me that the foundational pillar of frustration is FEAR.

Can I go back to yesterday's blog and back to Lot's wife?  I asked yesterday what would have caused her to turn around and look back to a place of filth, death, immorality, impurity.   The Lord opened my eyes to this as I was pouring my coffee.........maybe because of FEAR.  Maybe looking back is easier than fighting for a NEW NORMAL.    So many of you have said, "what if the drops have stopped working, what if I'm not eating the right veggies, what if this is all I can loose on this plan........."    That's all based in FEAR.   And fear comes from the greatest LIAR ever known to man.

DO NOT look at where you have failed before, DO NOT accept the lie that "this is as good as it is," DO NOT be afraid to live as a healthy, thin person, DO NOT worry about whether or not you can keep your weight off or is this just a "fad."   God is offering each of us a WAY OUT of Sodom and Gomorra......FEAR CAN cause us to look back, as moving forward is unknown territory and failure has been the route for many of us.   But, we are on a new route!

I need you to look UP first - that's where your help comes from; next, look OUT to each of us and let's draw strength and remind each other, "no looking back - a new life is in front of us;" then, look at  YOUR journey and remember that the new normal is not a place you can define yet, but it SURE beats the "hell hole" that you came from; and finally look DOWN and remember who resides under your feet.  (wink)

So here we go - new journey, God's leading us there, we are leaving a place of destruction and FEAR is not going to keep us from our new, happy life!!!

Are you willing to break that spirit of FEAR?   Annihilate it.  :)
