YEA - it's Friday.   Weight stable all week.  Love it!

I am on point for the women's conference in two weeks, so my days are long and full right now.  My blogs may be shorter the closer we get to the conference and then for a few days I won't blog as my full attention will be on the ladies God is drawing to this gathering.  Good news:  we are working on some special foods for the upcoming RAIN conference.  The lady doing all the food for me knows I am a whole foods girl now and she has agreed to do LOTS of natural, no sugar foods for us.   YEA!  If you haven't registered, don't miss it.   Lots of prophetic words about the conference are flowing already and we haven't started.  All are welcome - this is not an ACC thing.

I am really excited about the way our team planning is shaping the holiday meals for this season.   I baked a small roasting hen - couldn't find a turkey breast - and will work on the dressing recipe this weekend.  Jennie brought her spaghetti squash to lunch yesterday and WOW what a hit.  I love knowing I can eat delicious things that are good for me.  Go figure.  :)  Gone are the days of denial as people trying to be healthy were forced to live on Barley Green and oats.  Paulette has a friend who is working on a peach cobbler recipe with almond flour and xylitol.   We will share these recipes as they come together.   I get so excited.   The ONLY issue - you gotta cook.  I know this can be time consuming, but when I cook - I cook!   I made a big pot of soup with cabbage, lean beef, onions, beef stock, fire roasted tomatoes and tabasco last night.   (Thanks, Bree)   SO good - it reminded me of a recipe my mom made as a child called goolosh.   (I know I'm old - but that is what she called it)   It tasted JUST like that, but had no macaroni.   The cabbage was the only difference.  My husband loved it - very healthy - and he ate TWO huge bowls.   At the same time I was roasting my chicken to have for the weekend and use as a base for our dressing recipe that is forth coming.   At the same time I cut up a watermelon someone blessed me with and that will be several days of fruit.

Plan ahead - cook in volume - freeze what you need and portion out the others.  On nights you are rushed and tired - food ready.  :)   When I am hungry - I get mean.   :)   And when I am tired AND hungry - I need prayer.  :)   So I have to make a plan and stay with it.   Coming up on 10 months.   The times I drop the ball - no planning.   Remember I quoted this to you - "if you fail to plan, you plan to fail."   Don't know who wrote that but it is SO true.

Gotta run - HUG lots of people today, spread joy everywhere you go, and choose life.   PK
