Got up early, but ran into some issues with my "other job" and had to spend some time resolving some things. So, no blog today. :( But, as it's my birthday, maybe you'll give me some grace. I will say this is still a year of firsts. Birthday dinner Sunday night - no ice-cream eaten that they brought to the table, birthday dinner last night - no chips and no fried ice-cream that they brought to the table, took mom to the cupcake store and she chose not to get one as I was not having one, and my granddaughter tried to stuff a mexican sweetbread with ice-cream and syrup all over it in my mouth - NO, NO. We've come too far.... NO BIRTHDAY CAKE THIS YEAR - FIRST EVER!
I am so excited about life, excited about my health, and excited about my future in a different way this year. What is God up to????
Have an amazing day - I am so proud of all of you that during this season you are being creative and eating to refuel as opposed to eating to out do last year's holiday weight gain. Do it TEAM! Victory party on Jan. 1st. We're freedom fighters and we WILL NOT BE DEFEATED!
